New Hope Center began providing residential services in a home that was donated through a benefactor’s estate. Today NHC owns several facilities/homes that offer a wide array of options for individuals to live in their community including:
- Independent Living – Apartments for individuals who can live independently or who may need assistance to deal with their daily living needs.
- Adult Family Home (AFH) – Licensed/Certified supervised housing for one to four residents. Based on the small number of individuals residing in an AFH, New Hope Staff are able to structure activities and provide an intensive level of support to individuals with challenging behavioral and medical needs.
- Community Based Residential Facilities (CBRF) – Licensed and supervised housing for up to eight residents. Through carefully matching the personalities and needs of individuals, New Hope Staff are able to structure activities and support individuals who are not ready to live independently or who may always require assistance with daily living needs.
Our philosophy is to provide the least restrictive living arrangement. Everyone residing in a NHC home is offered and encouraged to participate in a variety of community connections, and many individuals become active community members.
